Our heritage was born in the insurance industry with a focus on safety and preservation.  We are committed to assisting clients in the pursuit of their financial goals.  We focus on the alignment of investment objectives and client risk tolerance, including the use of non-securities products.

 

Creekside Financial Group Inc is committed to offering fee transparency for investment advisory services which are based on assets under management.

 

Fiduciary Statement

 

Certain Creekside Financial Group Inc. employees are Investment Adviser Representatives of Alphastar Capital Management LLC and are considered to have a fiduciary relationship with clients and will be held to the legal standards under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the applicable state laws.  Acting as a fiduciary, Investment Advisor Representatives have an affirmative duty of utmost good faith to act solely in the best interests of clients and to make full and fair disclosure of all material facts.

Jim was born and raised right here in Frederick County, VA.  He is a local graduate of James Wood High School (1987) and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Shepherd College (1991).  Jim began his insurance career in 1996 specializing in retiree-focused insurance solutions including long term care, Medicare options, fixed annuity and retirement income planning.  Jim co-founded Creekside Insurance Advisors Inc. in 2009 and Creekside Financial Group Inc. in 2017. 

 

Jim has served on several past and present volunteer boards within our local and regional community.  Jim currently lives in Stephens City, VA with his high school sweetheart wife Amy and children Adam and Emily who both attend Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, VA.  Beyond Jim's enjoyment of family, is being able to bring financial comfort and confidence to his clients and to serve his local community.

Chuck was born and raised right here in Frederick County, VA.  He is a local graduate of James Wood High School (1984) and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Berry College (1988). Chuck began his insurance career in 1988 in auto claims and transitioned to Human Resources Superintendent with State Farm.  He began his insurance agent career in Winchester, VA in 2003 specializing in retiree-focused insurance solutions including long term care, Medicare options, fixed annuity and retirement income planning.  Chuck co-founded Creekside Insurance Advisors Inc. in 2009 and Creekside Financial Group Inc. in 2017.   

 

Chuck currently lives in Frederick County, VA with his wife Sheila.  Chuck has five children; Logan, Hannah and Peyton who attend (Peyton in Fall '18) University of Tennessee Chattanooga, Tanner who attends Lord Fairfax Community College and Ryan who is in the U.S. Air Force.  Beyond Chuck's enjoyment of family, is being able to play guitar and assist clients in their pursuit of a confident and enjoyable retirement.
