When I was 15, my grandfather showed me how to read a stock report. I didn't know it then, but that moment set everything in motion. Years later, after losing my father, I saw firsthand how financial preparation can either anchor a family or leave them adrift. Those two experiences shaped everything I do today.

I've spent nearly a decade helping people in and around Front Royal build wealth and plan for retirement. What keeps me engaged is the puzzle of it all. Every client brings different assets, different goals, different fears. My job is to take those pieces and create something that actually makes sense, something they can see and understand and use.

I studied business at James Madison University, earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees. I almost became a writer instead. I still think about storytelling constantly, just in a different way. Every retirement plan is a narrative. Every portfolio tells a story about what someone values and where they want to go. I help people write those stories with intention.

My wife and I have been married for 14 years. We live with two dogs and a cat who dictate most of our schedule. When we're not working, we're usually somewhere in the Shenandoah Valley with our camper, hiking trails or looking for birds I probably can't identify yet.

The work matters to me because it's built on trust. As a fiduciary, I'm legally and ethically bound to put client interests first. That's not marketing language. It's how I operate. I use straightforward tools, transparent fees, and a process designed to reduce risk without overcomplicating things.
